Selenuim Scripting: 3-day evening workshop

 

Introduction

 

This course provides a comprehensive understanding of using Selenuim as an automated functional testing tool.

You will learn to use Selenuim IDE and Selenium RC to create automation that works with dynamic objects and data , conditional statements to control the flow of your scripts, and use Data Table methods to retrieve external data. All topics are supported by "hands-on, real-life" exercises and labs from our well-respected Test Automation Professionals.

Pre-requisites

  • Quality Assurance knowledge.
  • Basic knowledge of QA Automation.
  • Laptop or other computer.(Mac is fine too)

    At the end of the course, you will be able to:

  • Configure Selemium RC with Eclipse.
  • Use the Data Table object to store run-time data and drive actions.

    Day 1:

  • Working with Selenuim IDE, record and playback.
  • Building a Verification points and comments.
  • Creating Test Suites and using IDE
  • Day 2:

  • Install and Configure Selenuim RC and Eclipse.
  • Converting Selenuim IDE test to Selenuim RC.
  • Enhancing Selenium RC scripts with logical statement and reporting.
  • Day 3:

  • Creating New Subroutines.
  • Building a Library.
  • Using a Procedure in Different Scenarios.
  • WebDriver overview and implementation.
