Description
Taught via online conferencing, this workshop is designed to empower your team to more quickly automate test cases. Instead of record/playback, we will use the Test Automation Keyword Driven Framework (KDF) to create automated test cases using keywords instead of using scripts. The KDF provides your team with a user interface that allows subject matter experts to quickly create new automated test cases without learning the scripting language. Once automated test cases are entered, we will demonstrate how to update the KDF with your changes and run those test cases from within Software Planner.
Prior to the workshop, you will provide STAR with a few test cases you would like to have automated and we will work with you to automate those test cases by putting those test cases into the KDF, pulling those test cases into Software Planner, setting up Automation Lab Test Sets and a launching them from within Software Planner. This training class will stop at 7 hours, but you can sign up for multiple classes if you wish to have STAR help automated other test cases not completed in this session.
